Wairarapa Village comprises 81 independent living one and two bedroom villas, one bedroom serviced apartments, along with rest home and hospital care options.
In 2018 the village underwent a redevelopment and expansion of the existing villas and care rooms. The structure was a combination of steel framing, concrete masonry walls and light timber framing, all designed as Importance Level 3, with Miyamoto’s scope including the construction monitoring. The redeveloped care home opened in late 2020.
