Miyamoto New Zealand was engaged by 2degrees to design and manage the installation of a new telecommunications tower at a site located at the base of a steep rock bank. The challenging topography of the site required planning and careful consideration of geotechnical conditions to ensure the stability and safety of the tower structure. To mitigate these challenges, a comprehensive slope stabilisation design solution was implemented. Miyamoto New Zealand provided a range of services, including structural analysis, geotechnical investigations, project management, and construction monitoring. The project was successfully completed, with the tower installed safely and the slope stabilisation ensuring long-term stability in the difficult terrain.
