Miyamoto was engaged by YourSection Ltd as the geotechnical consultant for the River Stone subdivision in Halswell Christchurch, which consists of 200+ new residential lots and associated infrastructure including a stormwater management area. Miyamoto's involvement included scoping and management of geotechnical investigations, geotechnical evaluation and assessment including liquefaction triggering and hazard assessment (simplified and refined), slope stability assessment, static settlement assessment (including a preloading trial). We also undertook construction monitoring including instrumentation and monitoring, geotechnical reporting and certification.
