Miyamoto was engaged to carry out geotechnical site investigations, assessment, and reporting for the construction of an accessway for a new house at 446 Moores Valley Road, Wainuiomata, Lower Hutt. The private accessway provided a permanent driveway to the house from Moores Valley Road and required extensive earthworks including both cut slopes and fill embankments.
The project was completed within a short time frame with no interruptions or delays to other construction works ongoing at the site and in accordance with the relevant Council requirements consent conditions.
